Re: problem with resetting my windows 10 pc Hi, does Windows ask you to insert an appropriate installation media to reset the machine? I reset my old computer with Windows 8.1 yesterday. The only way I could do it was through a Windows 8.1 disk image, though I am not sure resetting works
