Re: Audio Based Social Media App

Both ZoneBBS by phone and Klango had audio profile capabilities, The Zone also had the ability to have a small textual tag-line at the beginning of posts as a sort of quick introduction, the opposite of signatures as it were. Klango also had an open media catalog, so in turn was a great podcatcher and internet radio-streamer. There were also voice forums.Your social media timeline approach sounds good, though I would also couple it with forums if people would prefer more organized discussion. I assume an api for games to communicate with this would be in the cards as well?As an example, back in 2000 there was a turn-based game called accessible starfight, essentially a cross between Space-Invaders and Battleship, with online capability. The way to start an online game was through a program called Accessible Chat. Maybe, in a way similar to iMessage, there can be a games button next to the chat box that allows you to look at a list of integrated games and send an invite for one to the person you are chatting with. You could also see what games they've got tied to their account, so that the system does not attempt to start a game the receiving user might not have.

But a virtual machine is already competing with resources that are in use by the current operating system, so you can't just split the ram between the host and guest, especially on a 4gb ram installation, and not expect it to choke.

Nope. Sorry dude. 2gb will choke the vm. Either upgrade your machine to Windows 10 or get a new one. Don't know what else to tell you. If you have a solid state drive, you will be more well off than an hdd but 4gb of ram might be mildly painful to Windows 10. 8gb is an optimal minimum nowadays, and even cheap/second hand machines have it nowadays so there isn't all that much standing in your way.

Re: I have a mac vm?

Liam also found the clause in the mac license agreement that specifically states the only conditions in which a virtualized Mac is allowed, conditions to which windows pc was definitely not listed. This is unnecessary panic. Virtual machine discussions are not going to start getting banned left and right. This is only distribution of Mac virtual machines, and in Windows 7's case, distribution of already-activated virtual machines of it, which as far as I know isn't actually being done.As an aside, we'll get nowhere in terms of accessibility improvement if we stay hung up on Windows 7 and don't move onto the operating system that is getting more accessibility improvements than ever. Freaking let it die, people. There's nothing nostalgic about it like there is with Windows xp, and you can get damn near literally every nostalgic element (including the start menu, parts of explorer, the sounds, and the voices) on Windows 10 just fine, and virtualizing xp is quite necessary considering running older games and such. But I digress.

Um. Maybe it's because the iso is too big to just upload? It's several gb in size, you know. You can't expect someone to just upload that on a whim. Microsoft does offer direct download links. right on their site. You're better off downloading it from their site anyway since it's safe.

How incredibly noble. This is literally an apples to oranges comparison.  Apple, a trillino dollar company, has not the capacity to give a rat's ass about a few people running a mac vm. Does this mean it's legal? Not necessariiyl, and in fairness I did bring this up as a potential risk, that perhaps it isn't a good idea to be actually passing this shit around while discussion is more ok. But seriously dude, Apple is not the shining example of accessibility they once were especially on the Mac. Few things here.@Simter: GIven the uncertainty you may want to take this off forum. I am honestly not sure, and not the one to ask, about whether Hackintosh/Mac VM's would be allowed on the forum. However, as for the vm itself, were you able to patch the kernel extension for the usb ports? ON mine (taken from a mac I do personally own) the USB ports buffered like crazy, so you could not plug in damn near any audio device. Then again, the built-in mic buffered too, so I'm guessing no matter how powerful your system is, or how much resources you allocate to the vm, it won't ever be fit for audio-recording which includes facetime.

Right now you can get Windows 10 Pro for $13 from a Redmond Pie-approved discount store, so it is hardly breaking the bank. Windows 10 was never truly free, and if you honestly thought the free upgrade was the end of the road, think again. The reality is, most upgrade, find Windows 10's features attractive but oh their system isn't gonna handle it. Most just buy a new system. It would've been a totally effective way to reel customers in were it not for the fact that MS backfired by practically shoving it down our throats. In the end though its really become a great operating system though, and Windows 7 is finally dead, so the end justifies the means.

She was the team lead for the game development endeavors, given Bryan has said he isn't much of a games person himself. Even when the price was higher initially, the hatemail they ended up getting was definitely unwarranted. But now, think. AS long as Leasey works with demo licenses of Jaws, you get 5 (count'em) 5, games, hardly any of them valued at a $0.00 price-point, for the price of one formerly available title plus a McDonalds+Uber Eats excursion. I say that's a bargain in and of itself.

Mixer and audio interface are, yo uwould think, similar in part. What gives them a stark difference in Focusrights requiring the control software to be used, which defeats the purpose of discrete audio adjustments from an accessibility perspective. The motu m2 that DGlex recommended does not suffer that deficiency (gave it a look, only problem being it doesn't have any stereo-in pairs like my current zenix q802 does, and the ones that do are more pricy for less inputs. Better still it's something I will definitely keep tabs on, considering they're highly regarded by Sweetwater as was the q802 I purchased. I can definitely appreciate the m2 being bus-powered though, something I can actually take advantage of as my system does have a usb 3.1 type-C port.

Assuming the software remains at $41, I'd say $41 is worth it if you're after just the games. Let's see. $25 for q9, the farming game on its own might have been worth a lot more than the remaining $15, but the other $15 gets you the three remaining other games. Blue's consumer gear gives them a bad rep, so if you ignore that their honest studio gear actually has an excellent reputation in the pro circles. Always look at the reviews on Sweetwater as they are from honest customers. That being said that's where I'd recommend buying gear anyway, out of the way, Amazon.

@Brad: No. Leasey Total Package is $67, and Leasey Advance is $41. Whether they will work with demo versions of JAWS or not I am not sure, I may actually need to ask about that myself as the last perpetual license I have for JAWS is at version 15, and 2020 is an annual license, so I am not sure if purchasing Leasey is safe on an annual license. I myself wouldn't at all mind buying it if they still had the payment plan they were talking about earlier just to minimize risk, but if that isn't possible I won't be losing sleep over potentially paying 40 bucks for what will essentially be all 4 of the games that would be included. That being said I do hope these are permanent prices and not discounts, as there is no indication of these being discount prices and if it is indeed $41 then perhaps Q9 and company may be a little easier to obtain. Especially if the license can function with JAWS demo serials.

The zenix q802 is a straight annaog mixer. As for monitoring, you can use the windows listen function as long as you're ok with latency, but if that trips you up then I would just set the level in advance then record.Re: dynamic vs condensor: The perfect way to get the benefits of both would be an active dynamic like the Blue Encore200. Although standard passive dynamics have clear sound, they are usually quiet on low gain settings, and of course higher gain may equate to a buzz or distortion. An active dynamic takes advantage of the mixer's 48v phantom power, and the mic will be loud and clear eve n on a lower preamp gain. Also, don't expect to upgrade from the encore200 anytime soon. That mic is tough not to mention road-ready, as it's a studio/stage mic, and manufacturers know full well that a good dynamic microphone should be built to last being tossed around (sometimes not by the person handling it). And dyanmic mics are hot-swappable as well, though it is good to wait 30 seconds after turning the phantom off to disconnect the mic. Disconnecting it too early though will not short it out, however.

I use a Behringer Zenix q802 with a Blue Encore200. Obviously you are still going to want to acousticly treat the room/your surroundings to get rid of reverb if not done so already, but the encore has off-axis rejection which will definitely come in handy. The one thing the q802 will not do is stream your system audio through along with your microphone when connected via usb. For that, you'd either have to plug into a digital recorder or second computer, and then plug the computer you wish to play the game with into one of the stereo-in's on your mixer. Or, use VAC or VBCable.

Even if the podcast doesn't visibly show the feed when you are listening, i.e. you are listening or downloading straight from the website. In which case it's even easier. It's a one thing leads to another scenario, but it definitely isn't your mic. To assume that phones do that is somehow a bit more logical since they are actively cooled, but if your computer did that, suffice it to say your fan would be going at full wack, and that's before the metered data isp would be kicking ms/Google's ass.

Re: Creepy Windows 10 surveillance

It could be someone, somewhere, having an app open on the phone such as fb or instagram that actually did get caught taking control of your camera persistently while the app is open, which Google themselves have disallowed in android 12 (covert persistent microphone access, to be specific). You should also turn on audible alerts on any smart speakers that you ahve, so that if they do false positive you, you know when and where, and can stay quiet for the one or two seconds that it spends false listening.

@31 It's not all that personal, and not even a matter of pc. Chances are it wasn't unique enough to the point where it triggered seo buzzwords. It's not all that out there. A Youtube channel has become something of a company nowadays if you're commercially successful, so you really do have to think outside the box for a channel title if you aren't using just your name. Not to say that the onus is entirely on you for bringing the channel down, it still could have asily been a mistake.

Username squadding might also be a problem if channels are getting suspended after channel names are even chosen. Though unlikely since terms of service disallows it, but companies aren't really trying to keep up, as such you do really have to go outrageously out of this world for a username in some places nowadays.

There's also Google Play audiobooks, and they quietly dropped their drm recently. They have a near duplicate of the newer Audible catalog. The one downside is that their drm-free books are single m4a files, not m4b, so no chapter stops whatsoever. You will need to split the file yourself using qpoints, then use a software application like Dolphin Publisher to turn them into structured daisy.

One thing Goldwave won't have though is 64bit vst2 support and vst3 support. Chris doesn't think his customer bass is going to be that interested in vst's, since Goldave is meant more for the fine-editing anyway, and the point of most vst's nowadays is to take advantage of non-destructive editing pre-render, something which Goldwave was never meant to do.

Unless they've changed the rules, you d need to have accumulated 100 produced tracks. ANd they are looking for expertly produced royalty free tracks. But they could have easily changed the rules on this one since they added a marketplace, so don't quote me on that. The most beneficial to you would be releasing your music on Badncamp under a Creative Commons Attribution license, or on a website under cc but on a royalty-free license if people purchase it.

Re: Is it possible to monitor audio from two inputs at once in Reaper?

Also, FL Studio's asio driver is lightyears better than asio4all in terms of performance. A lot of Behringer mixers, being class-compliant, just ship with asio4all. Kind of a screwup within the acquisition of Behringer turning it into Behringer Music Tribe. You can't even easily find the stuff that Behringer offered for free download along with the mixer, although I did find it. It's some nice free stuff, but nothing like the stuff Focusright offers with their interfaces (the only reason I didn't go for the Skarlet was because  that series is just an audio interface, not a mixer (no mixer controls of any sort from the description, and my sweetwater sales rep was able to pretty much confirm that for me).I personally use a behringer Zenix q802, partially because the fx boards were more expensive wherever I looked, and because I already use software fx. Keep in mind that the q802 is a 1way traffic usb interface, and you cannot route your system audio through to the board through usb while recording the usb at the same time. Multi-channel mixers get into the absurd price range plus have a good chance of being digital, throwing their accessibility into question. Except for the Go-XLR, though that one isn't as versatile if you need a mixer with multiple actual stereo line input pairs.

Not sure, and also not sure if the Maschine controller even comes with accessibility, it probably does if it can be interfaced directly with your Kopmlete kontroller. Apparently they're going to be making Maschine into a full blown d a w, wwhich unless they've got some major accessibility planned, will not replace Reaper. We just need to make sure that they don't make d a w integration an exclusive to Maschine if such is the case.

Raper isn't usually free, but you may be thinking of the temporary license that they are offering as a stay-at-home deal. Normally there's a 60day evaluation that never really expires, which is great for if you have plugin problems or accessibility-related issues and want to iron those out before you purchase it.Jaws vs NVDA: If you are using Reaper and Komplete, you will want to do most of the work with nvda, as JAWS won't have a particular advantage. @22: Not to mention the fact that accessibility is a hard-sell on their hardware, and it does significantly increase their numbers according to stats. So if they are going to commit to accessibility, chances are they are going to make it a hardware-exclusive in order for the investment vs return to even out more. Plus, as you said, there is only a small amount of people who actually do go for the komplete software without the keyboard. As far as I'm concerned, the perfect hardware-software integration is such that until Komplete makes a knob/encoder box that plugs into a keyboard's sustain peddle or extention port, I would never look back from the Komplete boards. Potential Komplete customers should know that given the solid hardware-software integration along with expandability, the nature of their products is to keep you wanting more. That's why there's that tempting discount price to Komplete 12 (even 12ultimate is a steal if you own one of their keyboards) and their summer of sound sale makes the discounts even steaper. I personally am waiting for that, and am probably going to go with Komplete 12 stand-alone because hard drive space constraints. I am going to want to use this mx500 for a little more than not even a year before I decide that their 2tb variant is worth it. Lol.

But the typical plugin chain, as I will expalin below, absolutely cannot run on 8gb ram and without a hyper-threading processor preferably.1: Eastwest guitara. Hwaves -EQWaves H-ReverbI have Guitar Rig as part of Komplete, but it isn't all that needed with their sampled guitars.2EW Stormdrum3a. H-EQb. either h-reverb or Abby Road plates3. Piano, usually from either Sonivox, Waves Electric Grand80, or Digital Synsations depending on what we're doinga. H-EQb. Possibly reverb, unless the built-in reverb on the piano is sufficient, sometimes it is, surprisingly. On top of that, for raw recording we have v-Comp, and if I am mixing vocals we typically go for an excitor, the Aphex Vintage Excitor personally. And finally, on the master bus, we have Abby Road Studio 3 as a control room. All that plus the fact that Eastwest is not the most lightweight instrument package as far as resources are concerned, and you'll be surprised if shit even loads on an 8gb ram machine. Even without plugins, you probably won't be able to have more than 3 tracks before the system starts stuttering. My system specs are as follows:model: xps15 7590CPU: 6core i7 running at up to 4.1ghz, can hyperthread making that 12virtual cores16gb (8x2) ddr4 ramNVidia gtx1650 with 4gb of dedicated graphics ram, good for gaming, modern graphic-intensive web apps almost never crashBluetooth5, Wifi6, built-in fingerprint reader, decent stereo speakersWindows 10 ProPrice: $1750 as a business customer, plus free expedited shipping. If you have a business name, just sign up with Dell as a business customer, at least in the U.S. that's all there is. Check with your distributor to see what else may be available. This is not an off the shelf item, they special-ordered mine so the whole make/deliver process took about a week and a half. The machine I was working with before, a macbook pro2015 with 8gb ram and a core i5, choked when Garageband was loaded with stock instruments and a few instances of Abby Road/H-REverb. Even without those, though, the plugin is surprisingly accessible. @BlackMana: It's just pure honesty, that's all it is. A lot of sites share the myth that you can do anything and everything with the stock plugins of your d a w, but they neglect to mention accessibility, or that really only applies to ProTools/Logic/Qbase. And no, I don't record in a studio, I was just pointing out that it's going to be a lot better to switch everything out for the accessible solution rather than spend more time than you need to with something inaccessible. As it stands, AnIdiot has a really good reason to get a Kopmlete keyboard especially given that he has Logic, since Logic is the only d a w that has direct integration with the Komplete hardware. My instruments are stored on a Crucial MX500 1tb ssd inside an external enclosure, and I did just hear they came out with a 2tb variant so I may need to look into that if I run out of storage.@anIdiot: I'd say if your keyboard is only a few years old, you're in a prime position to sell that and exchange it for something else. What you described is possible with the Komplete Kontrol a69 keyboard at the very least, and that is a very respectable keyboard. Keyboards generally do not depreciate substantially over a short period of time, as unlike consumer products, pro hardware is actually supposed to last a long time.

Yes.@anIdiot: You have nothing to lose selling that old keyboard in exchange for a Native one.It really doesn't get better than that as far as accessibility is concerned, other than plugins that are already accessible (Sonivox is actually quite impressive in this regard).I am going to underhype you right here, so sorry but not sorry. Music production is an expensive endeavor. If you haven't got the druthers, wait till you do. Seriously. Especially if you are dealing with potentially inaccessible stuff. Save yourself the hastle. There are people out there, me included, that can handle your production work, who already have the setup, while you wait for a good time to sell your keyboard.Regarding Eastwest, correct it is only accessible through nks. It also generally depends on what you're looking for as far as Eastwest instruments are concerned. Their Stormdrum series are great, and their guitars are good-sounding yet not very elastic, i.e. you're stuck with what's within the largely static presets. If you want guitars, go for something like this:https://www.samplelogic.com/products/gu … 6ed1f11d36The orchestral libraries are good, although the Sonivox Fimlscore Companion bundle stands shoulder to shoulder with Eastwest's orchestral library, is substantially cheaper and smaller in size, and is surprisingly accessible. Beyond that, it has open-browsable fxb presets for the instruments that don't have a menu-system. The only applications that I still use Eastwest for from an orchestral standpoint are solo instruments, as that is the only thing the Sonivox bundle doesn't have. Yes, it's got 12gb worth of pianos as well, and don't let the Steinway attachment fool you, as this is no typical Steinway grand sampling from Garageband or Logic. This is a very meticulous sampling of just about any acoustic grand piano configuration you could want, and for electric pianos there's the Waves Electric Grand 80key, which is NKS-ready as well.

Re: Trouble changing my SAPI voice on Windows 10

The reason is that 64bit applications can only ever use 64bit sapi voices. Many of the good ones that don't cost an arm and a leg are 32bit, and the only 64bit ones are rh voice, possibly espeak if it would stop clipping, Vocalizer (both distributions), Eloquence, and the Microsoft voices. You can get Mike, Mary and Sam as 64bit voices though. If NVDA 2019.3 and onward's speech refactor can make its way into nvda controller client dll's, when we can abandon sapi. This is hardly an issue for Tolk where the screen-reader abstraction is already handled, however it is so for games like Code7 and Sequence Storm that are not using Tolk.

Whoa whoa, slow down. Lol.1. ActiveSync is for installing sofware and syncing documents, contacts, calendars and music like you would a real Windows mobile phone.2. Virtual PC 2007 is for networking. Required for activation of screen-readers unless you're ok with 10minute demo mode.3. Windows Mobile 6 professional vs standard: only different is some business functionality plus touch support, which is obviously not going to work on the emulator, but there's that. Not much of a performance differenc.4. I'm working on compiling all the games in a central place once I can get them all. When I do, they'll be in one emulator package.

This brings back an old thread, but Mobile Archery is live on the audiogames archive. Go git it!I contacted Dolphin regarding Smart Hal/Pocket Hal, so hopefully we'll hear back from them concerning preservation possibility. Might do the same for Mobile Speak as well depending on how well this goes over with Dolphin. Once we get at least one fully functioning screen reader, this emulator will likely be properly hosted somewhere along with a games package.

Particularly if you make more than $600 in the given year. You'll have to check the regulations in your area. Use your flexible hours to your advantage and don't work to the point where you're making too much and you're probably fine. Rules may be different if you're a dependent or if you collect some form of social insurance in your area, so if you collect some  form of social security you really need to be careful that you are not making above the asset level.

That said the hours are extremely flexible, the only requirement to stay active is one job per month. IN fact, TRanscribeme may not even be able to compensate you if you are not verified.A good way to force the verification prompt to come up is to try adding money to your account. If things have not changed, you should get a prompt we need to get a ittle more information from you before you can add money. this is where all the verification steps come into play. Get someone sighted, or Aira, to help you take a picture of the front and back of your state id. Then do the same fora social security card or document. Then upload the pictures.Transcribeme is a real line of work we're dealing with, so neglecting to take care of this now could make things way more complicated than they need to be down the road.

So far, so good, the Kurzweil scan did a good job.Re, Paypal: As long as there is money in your Paypal account, you can use it on roder without linking a bank account at all. So, say you get $20 for your first audio hour, and you withdraw it to your Paypal account from Transcribeme. You now have $20 to spend, thus you can buy Super Egg Hunt just by logging into your Paypal account on l-works's order form. Balance will probably be your only choice in your Paypal account seeing as you have not linked a bank account, but that's ok. You really should link one though, and it does not matter if it's your savings or checking. You shouldn't overthink the purchase process on Paypal as it's a lot easier than you are making it out to be. Just don't get too comfortable and don't be surprised if you're asked to verify. Have a photo ID and social security document ready.

Yes and no.Paypal will need a bank account for verification but that's about it, they need an account routing number which you can get from your bank's site or over the phone. Technically, you can spend money in your paypal account without transferring it to your bank, or using a card, so you're good there. Just don't be surprised when it asks for photo id/ssn, though if you call their support and ask them to verify you as you upload the pictures they're usually really nice and helpful about it, and patient with you if you take an inaccurate photo at first. The site says you'll have to wait a few days, but by doing the process over the phone it was done within a little under an hour.

Excellent post Nocurnus, now let's add to that the fact that these scam providers are wising up to the fact that they know that Snopes-like scam adviser sites are out to get them. So what can they and do they often do?Payment proof: doctored photos and videos from Youtube celeb impersonators or fake actors, or worse yet, deepfaking if they were to ever grab hold of that.overly excited glammerous posts saying how rich they are and pimping the service: Yup, also paid actors.Or maybe not even paid, but puppets nonetheless. Sometimes the scam adviser sites are still able to track this, still others are subject to paid reviews being posted that make users believe it is not a scam wen it in fact is. By that same token, review manipulation has been done by legitimate entities, case in point: Malinch Entertainment, so review manipulation is not, while unethical, isn't necessarily an automatic guarantee that the site's tied to an underground scam operative. When you keep seeing red flags though, it would be foolish to believe otherwise.

Re: Give me your thoughts

This all comes down to who did what first. I.e. it is a commercial developer's responsibility to have a crashplan in place for when they legitimately go out of business, and if they vanish off the face of the net like Bavisoft did, then it's a legal grayarea, while not necessarily a moral one. The dawn of centralized distribution centers and subscription/rentware has actually made terms such as we can stop providing/terminate the service at any time without explanation actually enforceable on a technicality alone. However, for perpetual licenses none of that is actually enforceable. So recovering your own license, while it is still a grayarea, is probably ok. Distribution is quite another matter. This will more than likely end up being a discussion that needs to be had in light of Vipgameszone titles being literally rendered unplayable because of the developer vanishing.

Re: HoneyGain - Make Money out of Your Own Internet!

@KenshiraTheTrinity Google Opinion Rewards is great.Re: transcribeme.com: If I get past the screening and exam and can insure its accessibility, I will get back to you on that. Here is what I know:1. They say no prier experience needed.2. It takes them about a week and a half to get back to you after you've done the initial transcription screening.3. Once you are approved, they will put small selections of audio into your dashboard. These are for pay, though.4. The pay is $20 paypal per audio hour. This implies two things:1. flexible hours2. Per audio hour means once you have accumulated enough transcriptions to actually reach an hour of audio. The counting must be done via file lengths.

Re: List of VST plugins with Reaper and accessibility status and howto

Bringing back this thread while we're all on the subject of vst plugin accessibility. Has the Sibiac developer been working on NVDA 2019.3 compatibility? That is, admittedly going to be quite difficult I would imagine, since the ocr addon has been pretty much abandoned by NVDA developers seeing as windows 10 ocr is in its place, so I guess Sibiac would have to work with windows 10 OCR, or the legacy ocr NVDA addon would need updating. I have 2019.2.1 around if Sibiac compatibility is ever needed for a plugin.

Re: The victor reader stream isn't worth it and I'm sticking to apple.

@Brad and @chris:Trek runs on a quad core snapdragon410e running at 1.2ghz. Ram I'm not sure if it's 2gb or 4, but either way it's much better than the Stream2's speed. I was able to download 70 episodes of a podcast series I needed to move over in all of a day's work. As for updates, they're coming. Their main focus has really been a major reworking of the routing engine. They are using a new routing engine that works out a lot of the kinks within open nav and turn-by-turn directions. Yes, it actually does make a noticeable difference. Galileo support is coming, the FCC just needs to actually approve it for commercial use which was promised many months ago but the FCC has been noticeably slower to act. Bluetooth beacons and the fm radio are coming as well. But the routing engine, even though it was an under the hood update, is definitely a major one that did require a few months of work on its own.Agreed re: the Stream2's speaker. While it's weak volume-wise, it has better balance at least.

The Pro Sound Effects search app is a categorizer for your own sound libraries. IT unfortunately does not yet hook into sites such as audioblocks, Zapsplat, or ProSound Effects's own site. IT is only for the mac and may not be accessible.

Yeah, another scam. See if transcribeme.com is accessible, you can make some *real* money off of that if text transcribing is your thing.

@Brad: The Trek, not the stream, can connect headphones and is a shit ton faster in performance than the Stream2. Agreed re: Blindsquare, but until IPhone apps can b truly remote controlled, I'll keep the physical buttons, thank you. Even then there's the obvious issue of battery drain with not all phones being very energy-efficient, and sometimes you just need the phone to, you know, be the phone.

Re: Installing Lineage OS on my first generation Google Pixel

You should be able to update Lineage over the air, though major new builds will need reflashing, if I remember correctly there won't be a need for a data wipe though.Google had made so many changes to the way Gapps are managed. One time they required devices to be registered with a code online in order to be liensed for Gapps, yet Lineage is still going around with gapps. It's a confusing process and I blame Cyanogen's commercialization for it, because romming is just not as worth it as it used to be.

The problem with examining the code now is that even if it is safe today, the fact this is on the internet could mean that he could change it tomorrow, or a week from now, you name it. Even if he personally doesn't, someone could hack into his server and do just that.

Re: What happened to eloquence for android?

It's a 32bit binary. Code Factory decided they were not getting enough sales, and couldn't update it for 64it. Would've been all well and good if they hadn't up and removed it from the play store, or at least provided an alternate recourse for those who had purchased it already.

Not necessarily. If you can get past the setup, then Aira your way through enabling usb debugging and install the apk. If not then do as in post 52. Assuming the apk works, it'll lead to the same results anyhow.

HDude. It isn't that hard. Just change your google account password when you're done. This situation sucks, but when you've exhausted all your options, what else can you do?Once you install Talkback from the Play STore, you should be able to convert it into a system app.Maybe you can have aira help you pair a Bluetooth keyboard so you do not have to get a usb keyboard if you don't have one. Then you can enter your google account password without having to worry about it being revealed.
