are you guys really playing 24/192 hirez files, I have always had to
resample to 24/96 in dbpoweramp to get them to play ?
People who like the SBGK with jivealsa at 45 and loadavg at 50, do you
still find these settings acceptable ? my view was that the sound was
different because so much

yes, it's a real foot tapper, to be sure. very enjoyable. not a digital
sound at all.
It's like this is beyond trying to get a vinyl sound, this is like
getting close to the master tapes.
I can really hear the changes in production from track to track now,

Regarding trying your mod:
- How important is the buffer size? Is it linked to the mods in the
prio-section?
TT3.0 with 3400 vs Logitech/SBGK 3200, or may I use the 3400 setting
for both during comparison?

track.
If soundcheck had the same pace, we would be discussing TT19784.0

it was designed. the priority of the processes in the
SBT computer have an impact on audio which is coupled to the code which
we have no control over. so changing priorities away from the base
settings does not work as the sound is compromised.

after all that, I think the main culprit in the TT3.0 sound being too
forward is the Loadavg process. set to 97 in TT3.0, try setting it to
50 and the sound is a bit better.

brought the sparkle back to the music. As of now, this is good enough
that I'm inclined to leave these mods in. Will give it few more days,
