I am looking at a female-type Prairie Warbler in a large flock of
mixed warblers, west of cell 4 about halfway between the cell at the
Bracebridge Sewage Lagoons. Watch for the constant tail pumping.
Mostly Yellows and Black-and-white Warblers. Also a Warbling Vireo.

Myself and Murray Shields with our group had a very vocal Three-toed
Woodpecker just then, slightly north of the Costello Creek picnic area on
Opeongo Road.
Algonquin can be accessed via HW 400, 11 and 60. Opeongo Road is 46.3 km
from the west gate.

Lee Brown's is accessed off Lakeshore Drive in Long Point. Look for the

Hi folks,
I'm sure there are some folks out there looking for this bird. I am not one
of them, but would like to report for those who may be travelling that I
have not heard anything about it from today.
My initial observation was brief and the bird was seen heading east high
and rapidly after
Amanda Guercio and I have been on the beach at Hanlan's for about 1.5
hours. So far nobody has yet relocated Wilson's since the morning or Snowy.
Wilson's might still be around.
There are at least three Piping Plovers remaining. Usually staying quite
far from water up on dunes.
Take Ferry from
We just found a female Summer Tanager to compliment Henrique's male bird,
on Chinquapin Oak Trail just past the intersection with Tilden's Trail.
Take the Tilden's Trail to where it intersects with Chinquapin near the
area with the benches and boardwalk. Walk down Chinquapin about 100 metres.
We just found a chat on redbud trail at the south intersection with the
woodland trail.
Take the tram to halfway point and walk down woodland to redbud, bird was
about 80 metres in, at times crawling up pretty high in the junipers.

Hi Folks,
I decided to head up to Mt. Albert to see what the fuss was about and after
doing a few loops of Centre St, Mount Albert Rd and 9th Line, a leucistic
Red-tailed Hawk flew in and perched in a field on 9th Line just south of Mt
Albert Rd.
It was quite far but well seen through a scope. A
of the same, save for a couple of Rusty Blackbirds.

Hey Folks,
Sonje Bols and I had a pleasant morning birding in North Bay yesterday (Feb
3). She had been seeing Bohemian Waxwings feeding on crabapple in Wallace
Heights last week, so we drove around some of the streets and found many
suitable crabapples. We located a flock of waxwings along
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I read Ontbirds to find where the rare birds are, not to know the names of
people who feed birds.
I think I speak for the collective. Please, move this elsewhere.

TEAL. In the marina, there were multiple RED-NECKED GREBES and
a single HORNED GREBE.
Nothing exceptionally exciting, but certainly noteworthy!

four minutes). Take a right onto Lennox, which will shortly intersect with
Palmerston.

driving down the Highway to the Visitor Centre from the West Gate.

I also had an INDIGO BUNTING at the Visitor Centre parking lot.
