There are currently (3:50pm) two Greater White-Fronted Geese at 8th Line
and Brittania Road in Milton, in a flooded farm field at the NW corner of
this intersection. Also present is a White Morph Snow Goose and a number of
Tundra Swans. We had an adult, male Bald Eagle flyover as well.

There are six Greater White-fronted Geese on Stoney Creek mtn in a flooded
field across from the Vinemount sign on Ridge Rd. between 10th Rd. E and 8th
Rd. E. No doubt these are the same 6 found by Mike MacLeod at a nearby
location yesterday. The number of waterfowl has greatly increased since

Although there is quite a bit of ice, waterfowl is abundant at Ridgetown
sewage lagoons. Of note, 10 Greater White-fronted Geese were in the SE pond
(as seen from the viewing stand on the south side of the road). They were

Lee Brown's is accessed off Lakeshore Drive in Long Point. Look for the

In addition to the 7 Snow Geese (white morphs) at Jack Miners Bird Sanctuary,
there are now 10 Greater White-fronted Geese amongst the large congregation of
Canada's. All the Greater White-fronts are adults and near the back of the
large group in the corn field on the south side.

Late this afternoon there were 12 GWFG in the Madawaska headpond at Arnprior
amongst hundreds of CANG. The flocks of geese were leaving near sunset but
may well return tomorrow. The GWFG were in separate groups of 4 (2 ad, 2
juv), 7 (3 ad, 4 juv), and a single adult that flew in near sunset. A

on the north side of Ilderton Road just east of Coldstream eam. They were

Hi Birders,
I had a group of 4 Greater White-fronted Geese amongst a large flock of
Canada's (~500) sitting on the lake at around 1:30pm. The group appeared to
be comprised of a single adult and 3 young birds. The location was opposite
1351 Lakeshore Road, 100m. west of Reicheld Road.

Thousands of geese and swans are present there and the surrounding fields.

Beachville today. They were mostly in the flooded cattle pasture, with 200
Canada Geese and two Cacklers, south of the flooded beanfield.

of Whitby Harbour, on the soccer fields across from the Abilities Centre at the
southeast corner of Victoria St. W. and Gordon St., I found a flock of 68

Shrewsbury near Rondeau. They were very skittish and proceeded to fly towards
Rondeau Bay where they are currently not visible.

were swimming in the north back pond, and another six were on the east dike of
that pond. Those on the dike were mainly visible, by scope, from the viewing
