When I spoke to my local distributor they said the same thing about the gasket from Creme. They said that the brew boiler leaks more often because it is fully saturated and pressurised to a much higher level than the steam boiler (9bar vs 1.4bar). They used some thread sealer, not sure if it was

Hi Guys Have been thinking of changing my rotary steam tap for a toggle steam tap of some sorts. Ideally I would like to replace the tap with a new fitting that would allow me to control the steam with either a toggle like the GS3. Has anyone on the group done this before? If so what parts did

i think the yellow teflon tape actually got squished into the area the gasket surface is too. not sure about other uses, but the natural gas pressure in a home is nill - i think just a couple of pounds pressure. actually i replaced the element twice, and thats how i know the tape squished

i think they are about 300 a piece. as ira stated, there is a situation with the pipe hook up , and some models mount on the inside of the panel (i think) which would require replumbing the steam supply pipe. the Mondaile has levers also. -- You received this message because you are
