When I spoke to my local distributor they said the same thing about the gasket from Creme.
They said that the brew boiler leaks more often because it is fully saturated and pressurised to a much higher level than the steam boiler (9bar vs 1.4bar). They used some thread sealer, not sure if it was the loktite one, it has ared colour.
