focus and limited participation (not invaded by non CC owners and alumni).

There is or was an archive, but since I've been here from the start I just
use Microsoft Outlook and store all my emails in yearly files. It is easy to

Forums have HUGE problems with spam and trolls. Most of us are on one or
more sailing forums anyway. They have their place, but something about the
forums seems to generate trolling and flame wars in a way this list never
does.
No matter what form it takes, I think we can all agree that the list/photo
album makes owning an old CC much better than most other types.
I have some thru-hulls sitting around that have never been used. I'll find a

it with your message, is to highlight the text in the original email before you
hit the “reply” button; then only the text you highlighted will be quoted in

I guess it has never bothered me cause my gmail and Gmail client auto hide
the quoted text AND they auto group emails with the same subject. It's not
always necessary but sometimes it is nice to be able to see what exact
referance someone was making simply by looking at the quoted text.
