Wifi kind of narrows it down a little with Verizon. The newer Samsung (I think SCH-i830) is a wifi phone. However Verizon locks many features and you cannot use it as a skype type phone on WIfi. I had good luck with my Samsung 730 but found it bulky. I am now on a Motorola Q9C. Smartphone
