for LGM in general:
LGM is a great chance to meet with other designers working in the open, and this
year’s event was no exception. If this year’s LGM is anything to go by, open graphics and
design are in good shape

For me: I'd rather sit 2 days on my own spot demoing Blender, than
doing a 1 hour talk. It gives groups a nice own hangout, and it
stimulates inter-group interaction better too.
+1 for the own spot, in parallel to a single track of presentations.

The Durian film project will have entered the final production weeks
when LGM is... so we most certainly cannot do a premiere. Sneak peeks
is well possible though. It would rock if we could have 2k HD
projection there... I will try to get a 4k screen even (Belgium
sponsor of film).

now. If 27-30 is ok, then it runs from Thursday 27 to Sunday 30.

ach, after reading a mail from last thursday announcing a meeting for the
next weekend, i thought that next weekend was going to be the last weekend...
