Does this help:

If you explain exactly what it is you need, people are likely to help.

Since it is not a requirement for Apache ("Test data for which the addition
of a source header would cause the tests to fail"), it should not be a
requirement for Apache NetBeans. Indeed, let's at the very least waive this

I would say the first is not a blocker. Just use 11.02 or 8 or 12 or
whatever. Add this to release notes (hey, we should have release notes).
2126 has been fixed I believe, one of the last two PRs with cherry pick

Splash screens for Apache NetBeans 11.0 are ready (thanks David and Chris),
though only once we have a branch does it make sense to create a PR and
merge them there, i.e., these are not for main but for the 11.0 branch (and
in main we should have 'dev' splash screens only).
Aside from that, what

Hi all,
Jan Lahoda, Neil C Smith, John Kostaras, and I all spoke about Apache
NetBeans at FOSDEM over the past weekend, in the newly created Free Tools
and Editors devroom.

The status update on Apache NetBeans can be viewed here, it

Kind of de facto since Laszlo volunteered to do it again and everyone
responded enthusiastically, my assumption was that he would be the release
manager for this release. And I think Laszlo has been assuming the same
thing.
However, since this release incorporates his Gradle integration and he's

Hi all,
@Neil C Smith and I met at FOSDEM today with our
Apache NetBeans mentor @Daniel Gruno , and he
mentioned the publicly available stats here that are gathered per month, on
.apache.org websites, such as netbeans.apache.org -- makes for
interesting reading:

Thanks,
