The way I read this, it was not because they were on a band plan for CW, but
that they were interfering with communications that was already in use. The
band plan was just something that gave them the ability to "gig" them for
one more thing.

legal according to the charts. I was hoping that would be what we would see
on the other bands as well, but guess th

http://chat.dxers is a spot where some 6 meter hams gather, its a chat room,
which is also used for spotting 6 meter signals. We can all sign in there
and monitor it. There appears to be a number of other such channels as part
of the same network, for other bands as well.

Walt, I am afraid you would go out of business right quick. Few people who
write for magazines are going to mess with three systems. They do it for
themselves, then publish what they have done. As to commercial software -
you buy it the way it is, or dont.

That must be a different CCW than I used as a government employee back in
the mide 60s. I dont remember a lot about it, except we had CCW equipment
in our receive site, and were copying from at least two other sites. It was
a commerical mode then.
