I thought it was a new Slimserver version 6.2.2 upgrade but turned out
to be the Octoshape plugin, too bad I loved the improved streaming 192k

Hi, I'm having the same problem with a few RSS feeds.
Currently I run 6.2.2 but have tried a 6.5 nightly as well on my server

A few RSS feeds from a local newspaper do not work anymore with my SB3
but did work some months ago.The url:

Greg - thks for confirming that I am not alone with this problem.
To be honest as a I had a 'workaround' (using the 2600 for the dsl and
the 2800vg for wireless) I had not pursued draytek for help..but
hearing you have the same symptoms I have just submitted a problem to
UK Draytek Support.
On a related note, anyone know if the Slimp3 and SB3 (UK) power supplies
are interchangeable??
Cheers,

After upgrading to SS 6.2.2 I've noticed that when I manually advance to
the next song it will sometimes not play the first second or so of the

seems to occur
I know many or most of the regulars here are anti-DRM, and to some
extent I agree. However I think their is a growing market for

I found a way to get what I want, I just remove the first line

playlist always starts at track #1.

Good news, I found the culprit! I'm using a Motorola Surfboard900 as my

What happens if the Squeezeboxes are playing an internet radio stream?
Do they ever re-sync?
Each Squeezebox can *either* connect to the SlimServer *or* to the

Here what I did to get it working:
Clean-out 6.5 by manually deleting everything.
Install 6.3 from RPM.
Create a symbolic link /usr/local/slimerserver pointing to
/usr/local/SlimServer_v2006-05-06
Verify it works.
Delete /usr/local/SlimServer_v2006-05-06
Install 6.5 using tar -xzvf
Installed 6.5 and the date/time display was fine. Then I enabled the rescan
plugin and *boom*, the time is now displayed as 12,42. Anyone else seen
this?
