player I'm having issue with is showing the external IP address for its

quirk or that specific file.

wireless range is at least as good as my other devices. Readability
outdoors is not great. I find the laptop is best if outside when
sunny, but the controller is great on the porch or in the evenings.

under Music Library, Albums, scroll to the bottom of the page and in the
lower left corner, you'll see a drop down widget that looks like a
windowpane. Under that dropdown, you can select various ways to view
albums. Artist, Year, Album will get what I think you are asking for.

and now have the N5200 handling just my FLAC library. I am eventually

Quick and dirty, but I use the following in DOS on Windows boxes.
tree /a music.txt
This only prints down the folder level in a tree view. If you want
down to the files in the folders, add /f switch

if you're showing a player with a 127.0.0.1 address, it probably means
you were running softsqueeze on teh same machine as your server. You
can tell it to forget each existing player individually and then set up
your new hardware player and you'll be good to go.

I have the same issue with 6.5.3 and also 6.5.4. I reverted back to my
6.5.2 build and have it working again. I am seeing the same behavior
that accessing favorites from the SB and using the remote works fine,
but the web interface no longer works to Play favorites.

reviving this as my office squeezebox stays tuned to internet radio
during the day and there are often tracks I hear that I'd like to
remember/research/buy. A plugin such as this would be extremely useful
for this scenario and doesn't seem like it would be very complex.

be perfectly acceptable and provide some
improved harmony in the house. Even the hold the left button to
reselect isn't a great option for me as my SB3 is in the basement
feeding a distributed audio setup. Web interface changeability is what
I'd need to make it super easy.

current setup has 2 SB3's in the basement - one pointed to my main
slimserver and a second that stays logged into squeezenetwork. This
gives me control via a laptop, touchpad, or Nokia770 from teh main
parts of the house.

woudl like to share (and play) these playlists on my SB3's.
I have tried every variation I can think of for the path to the
iTunes Music Library.xml
\\macmini\Users\twylie\Music\iTunes\iTunes Music Library.xml seems like
it should work...
All references to the songs in the playlists section
to friends/relatives and the SliMP3 sits in the
shelf on my desk. Not sure the average is 2 per customer, but better
than 1.2 I'd wager.

had many problems with DHCP. Newest firmware seemed to fix everything
but some odd connection issues with the LAN ports (if devices are
directly attached, they are flakey - if a switch is attached to the LAN
ports and the devices to the switch, all is good.)

Agreed that a properly configured firewall should not die and instead
blacklist any internal device that it thinks is DoSing it.
Another data point - SoftSqueeze runs without a problem - it's only the
hardwired player that is causing issues.

on the imrpovments due to ajax implementation, but I
will say that the skin responds as well as I'd expect it to on a light
device. FAR better than the trials I had using Palm V over bluetooth
and iPaq 5550 over WLAN over the last couple of years.
