Let me start by saying i love this product line. Affordable multi room audio has reignited my love of music. I have a boom / classic / squeezplay / iPeng etc and love it. It has been faultless and not had anywhere near the problems outlined in the forums. Running my local music of an ld 512mb

Are those all _player_ preferences? If so, it's worth mentioning. Does a player have to be actively connected to an SbS server for the settings to sync, or will the settings of any player in the SbS prefs file be synced? If a player exists in settings on only one end of the SbS/mysb

One problem I had reported was with screensavers. As I use third-party screensavers on SBS, it can't sync those onto MySB. MySB therefore sets the selected screensaver to something else, and then synchronises that back to SBS, so I lose the settings on SBS. Is there a bug report for

Sounds like it more problems with MySqueezebox synchronization. It's getting to be old hat. MySqueezebox.com is pretty screwed up, when it's actually available, that is. Block mysb.com at your firewall if you want a truly stable environment for your players. Here are the IP addresses:

I count myself as a pretty IT literate guy and I'd still like an option for Squeezebox Server to be able to export it's settings. I can't imagine all the guys running NAS solutions etc wanting to start learning ssh just to back up their SB server. I think it would be very valuable for situations

This i spurely SBS stuff. The Menu settings of all boxes were overwritten when the Radio came in. As to the backup solution - the current form would not work for this. Every time I default to my old config file I'd have to add the Radio again - endless loop as it resets the other boxes' menus
