I uninstalled SlimServer, and then reinstalled 6.5 (after trying 6.3 which didn't work). Now, I don't see any MM icons in the SS GUI. However, I can send MM playlists to SlimServer from the MM executable. So, for now, I guess that's good enough. I just don't understand why I lost the ability to

OK I've added a periodic cleanup of the FileCache (at startup and once an hour). This should keep the size at a normal level. The first time you run SlimServer it may take a bit of time to clean out the old cache items, but should be fast after that. -- andyg

If you're using iTunes and haven't specified a music folder path, then there's no way to browse by music folder. Currently SlimServer only supports a single music folder, so using shortcuts is a good solution. -- andyg
