Actually it is as simple as opening the Nokia's web browser and pointing it to the slimserver URL. And for best effect, use the Nokia770 skin that Ben Klaas has developed, which also works fine on the 800. It is designed for the Nokia's screen size, and has a lot of other nice touches. --

Ben did a fantastic job on the skin -- it looks really really sharp on the device. I can confirm that with the faster processor and more RAM, the N800 is even better for controlling the server. It's fast enough now that browsing by album art (for example) is as quick as it is on the PC. --
