Need some more info... which SlimServer version? which operating system? wireless or wired from SB-Router? wireless or wired from PC-Router? Have you checked that the MAC address printed on the bottom of the SB matches the MAC address showing in the SlimServr Web GUI? Try assigning a fixed IP

Jan - the MAC issue is not somethign you would have done - sometimes the MAC address can change itself (has happened to me twice) - please check it. If it changes to the same MAC address as anything else on the same network, all sorts of odd things happen. To assign a static IP to the SB, use the

I don't believe that the SlimServer does that out of the box. It normally only scans on demand. It is shipped with a plug in that can schedule a rescan once a day. Have you installed the AutoRecan plugin. This plugin does what you describe in that it rescans everytime you add or change

127.0.0.1 is a special IP which always means this machine. So Slimserver's address is only 127.0.0.1 if the browser is on the same machine, if you run a browser elsewhere you need to use the machine's actual IP, and likewise the players will use the actual IP. -- radish
