The SBR shares most of its hardware with the SB3 and the SB2. The SB2 was released in April 2005. The codecs and some functions are all done in a field programmable gate array. So there's a whole lot that's reprogrammable. Also - the SBC and SBR have been through a very intensive beta test

Yeah Triode and I played with UPnP via SN but ran into some firmware bugs with having the player proxy a lot of HTTP requests back and forth to the UPnP server. The firmware would also need to proxy UPnP broadcast packets back to the server. I've updated bug 819. -- andyg

I tried Disk Utility, and while it cleaned up some disk problems, it did not fix the disk full problem. However, I downloaded Onyx and used it to clean up a bunch of files, and that did the trick. No more disk full error. The original Slimserver problem was then fixed by rescanning the library.
