I voted for it, there is not enough eye candy or audio tricks from the
Squeezebox, the current strange fade technique isnt high end enough.
Obviously its personal preference, but I want the expensive box to woo
people, otherwise I would use an ipod plugged into a hifi!

SC7 supposed to sync with the radio stations favorites in the

log no longer generates

I occasionally watch a movie on this PC, so I like having Dolby and DTS
decoders.

Well after a great deal of time and effort I have finally converted my
entire CD collection to FLAC and my entire music collection is
available from my Squeezebox.
I am now trying to persuade my wife to allow me to convert her small
collection of CD's so that my CD player becomes redundant, and
The SBR shares most of its hardware with the SB3 and the SB2. The SB2
was released in April 2005.
The codecs and some functions are all done in a field programmable gate
array. So there's a whole lot that's reprogrammable.
Also - the SBC and SBR have been through a very intensive beta test
The power supplies don't provide the clocks, internal crystal
oscillators do that, so not sure what it is your trying to determine.

be used with upnp/dlna-certified servers? I'm using a consumer NAS
(DiskStation from Synology), which provides an upnp server. with 64MB
RAM and 266 MHz it's probably too slow to run slimserver fast enough,

1. I openned Windows Explorer. Under My Computer my NAS drive
showed up in 2 places - one was as my K: drive, the other under My
Network Places as Volume_1 on

tablets, iRiver Mp3 Players) I chalk it up to either a) interference
like you suggested, or b) super-cheap FM chip set everyone has access

I tried Disk Utility, and while it cleaned up some disk problems, it did
not fix the disk full problem. However, I downloaded Onyx and used it
to clean up a bunch of files, and that did the trick. No more disk full
error. The original Slimserver problem was then fixed by rescanning the
library.
