That's not *exactly* what I'm after. SqueezePlay appears to replace SoftSqueeze (i.e. it's a player in its own right). It's able to do both. In fact for now only the remote control part is working, while playback is still in the pipeline. -- Michael

I just ran an experiment. The library is all Flac files, so this has nothing to do with TPE2/BAND options or problems. I took a Van Morrision album, Astral Weeks, and set the ALBUMARTIST to 'Cannonball Adderley'. Was: ARTIST=Van Morrison ARTISTSORT=Morrison, Van Now: ARTIST=Van Morrison
