issues, but also haven't used it heavily.
Feedback from me:
In terms of registration I had an issue getting to the linked site. It
seems TCMP (a media file player) thinks the link is a stream\media file
and gets launched
I would really like this device for the kitchen. But I would mount it on
the wall and it looks like all the wires point out of the back, making
wall mount imposible. It's a shame since they could probably pretty
easily have pointed them downwards, had they thought of it.

I use another solution for the controller. I have a Philips Pronto 9400
touch screen remote control with an application to control the
Squeezebox. It is not a very cheap solution but the application is
embedded in a remotecontrol-only solution, which I think is ideal.

On the Omnia you press the power button to deactivate the the screen
(and wifi). It kept reactivating the screen.

My favorite so far has been the xbox 360 media center, since you can
play your own files, but also netflix. If you buy playon media server
(for like $40ish), you can also stream hulu to your tv.
I guess I'm in the minority but I quite like the SBC.

Is it possible to get the artwork to work on the Controller ?
It works in iPeng and in web interface but not on the Controller. The
controller just shows the now playing screen with no album cover.
Is this a limitation of the Controller firmware ?

No. The files are processed by the server software and whatever your
server can hold will work.
Doesn't actually get faster with library size but I've seen users with
low power systems like ReadyNAS and 50.000 tracks.
There are users with more than a quarter million of tracks.

can't do a random play from more than 10,000 tracks, which I am over.
It's some pretty weird segues (think Mozart to Motorhead to Moby) when I
put the whole library on random - much fun.
