The speed was totally sufficient for SBS, I just had a HDD crash on the
MacMini and then switched to an Atom based Linux server, because I also

problem is that when playing individual tracks, say 1812 Overture,
followed by Romeo Juliet, at present
I'm afraid there really is no good way to do this. You might want to try
using Fade in and out as your crossfade setting, which will at least
make it less abrupt.

more!! My SB3 works fine but if the power cable is moved slightly there
is an almighty crackle/screech and the unit loses power, a twiddle and
power is restored and the unit reboots.

the main computer/server is in a room that I screwed up and didn't
bring cat 5 to. I am probably going to have to rebuild one of my old
carcasses into a server and stick it in another room with wired access.
