If its any help I ordered a Vonets VAR11N-300 set this up in bridge
mode, added the 2.4Ghz wifi details and disabled the hotspot function.
Then plugged it into the Touch pressed back and then selected Ethernet

Is there any reason why LMS is using such an old SQLite version, 3.7.7.1
which dates back to 2011.
Looking through the SQLite release log there seem to be pretty
impressive performance gains made over the years so just wondering why
this hasn't been rolled into LMS. (DBD-SQLite-1.58
I've written my own workaround for this now, just a basic volume
down/volume up like when you were a kid and making mix tapes :) not
overly elegant but does the trick for what I need.

never worked for me, or at least I've never noticed it working but maybe

Only thing I can think of is maybe the file is corrupt? When it jumps
have you tried replaying the same file and seeing if it does it again?
I would debug under Advanced Logging using the player. options as a
starter.

Also take a look in the tags for non-standard special characters, new
files may have www addresses, or tags with http:// linking to the
artists site, anything which isnt a normal A-Z alphanumeric character

For the Touch, yep you can alter the display but you have to delve in
there with SSH and change files manually. See my page link below to
alter the buttons, I presume its possible to alter other display items

down to the speed of the router. I had to drop it down from the Up to
270Mbps to g b. This then connected ok and I could finish the
setup.
Fortunately once it was connected I could change it back again to 270Mb
and everything still worked! :)

Have you tried manually setting a static IP address on the sbox?
Maybe the homeplug is mashing up the DHCP packets that your laptop can
get around but the sbox can not.

I might even be tempted to say its why it doesnt win against the Sonos
solution because reviewers just look at the pretty stuff vs the green
screen!

Others will correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to be the file with
the most recent time stamp.
