Personally, I like the LPL spots for a number of reasons. But if you want
to block them, use VE7CC.
Click on the configuration Tab (upper left)
Click on "Reject Ann or Dx Spots"
Enter W3LPL in the Spotter box
Click Add
Click Exit
You'll never see an LPL spot again
Also, make sure you are using the latest version of VE7CC.
If your VE7CC software is talking properly to DX4Win, it should work just

Walt,
One recommendation I have for everyone is to periodically upload your entire
log (via ADIF) to ClubLog. Even if you never use a single feature in Club Log,
it is a great place to store your log. You can download an ADIF of your log
at any time.

You can create a date filter for the exact dates you want and then export to
ADIF.

You can also navigate to the WSJT-X adi file, create a shortcut and then move

Did you try my suggestion of creating a shortcut to the ADI file and putting
that shortcut in your SAVE directory?

In the QSO Tab in Preferences, there is a location at the bottom to add a
secondary backup location. I have entered a location on a different hard
drive in case of a hard drive crash. I have only had to use the secondary
directory once, but I sure was happy that it existed!

Go to File - Import/Export
When the Import/Export window comes up, click once on the ADIF line,
Then go to Filter - Edit and click on Fields. You can add whatever you
want from the drop down menu.
Please make sure you are familiar with the ADIF specification and how it
works.

I recommend going in steps to convert your log. There have been massive
changes since V5. Converting a V8 to V9 will not be a problem. However,
I do not believe you can save a file in a demo version.

I believe that option was put in WSJT-X to help people if their logging

Is the other PC running XP as well? Most web addresses will not respond to
XP systems because of new recent security standards. Best recommendation is
to retire any XP systems as soon as possible or use it for non-internet
connected applications.

Does anyone know where this update control file is located? Or even the
name of the file? I have DX4Win running just fine on 2 other PC's.
all the updates, so now all 3 PC's are running
9.04.1176 and update works fine.

I use "Flexradio6000 1" as my radio file. DX4Win and Flex6500 talk perfectly
to each other on Windows 10.

How did you transfer your log?
Please use the IMPORT function and select DX4WIN4.
If you have the current version simply read your Version 4 DXL file, errors
will occur.

The author will have to modify DX4Win for FT4 to be a valid mode.
The ADIF group is working on an update for FT4.
