Mike, The universal color codes that PC's use on their cound card plugs are: Red=Mic in Green=Line out Blue=Line in This is assuming your sound card is set up for analog sound out and not 6 channel digital. On some sound cards there are additional plugs for rear speakers and digital output

Steve, I use USB mode on PSK all the time and never had a problem with IMD. You have to make sure your compression (CMP) is set at zero (0) and keep the ALC between 1 and 5 bars. I have operated this way with my K3 for as long as I have had it with no problems. 73 Dave

Bud, Using a stereo connector from the line out of the computer to the line in of the K3 is okay. On the K3 line in connector, only the tip and sleeve has a connection. So you won't be shorting out the unused line output channel of the computer when using stereo cables. 73 Dave
