Hi Don,
I did the procedure on page 33.
On the 4W test, these bands failed with the error code ERR TXG D=
Bands that failed are 60m, 40m, 20m, 17m, 12m
On the 6W test, all bands passed the test.

Any ideas of what may be causing the problem ? Could it be a bad PLL chip ?

Hi,
After Gary (KI4GGX) recommandation and explanation, I finally redo
from scratch the KNB2 jumper... Yes in deed, it was a little bit
harder to do. I should be able to keep the clearance at about 1/2...
I hope. ;-)
I did a photo of the jumper before applying tape and sticker. And I

Hi,
After many e-mail exchange last month regarding K2 voltage display, I
finaly did a modification tonight. First, before my mod, the K2 was
powered on a Astron RS-35M power supply with a real output voltage
took at the K2 connector of 13.75V and the K2 display 13.1V.
I decided to
Hi to all guys of like to experiment in their K2, I was inspired by

I did mine. So when I want to remove a module to isolate a problem,
or simply to make more space to work in the K2 when trying some
experimentation, simply
I bought an used linear amp Ameritron AL-811H for half of the price
of a new one. I just want to make sure I'm right. This is the first
linear amp like this one I have.
If I want to connect my KPA100 to an Ameriton AL-811H, what should I
do ?
It seems that Relay control conector behind

Hi,
I have and use the Buddipole over 2 years now and I'm extremely
satisfied !!! It is like a big LEGO block that you can experiment
antenna world.
Very robust and quality construction. The antenna is very effective.
Many QSOs, could be built in minute, light weight, small size, for a
**Industry Canada Introduces Alternatives to Morse Requirement for HF**
In July 2003, the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC) 2003 held
by the ITU in Geneva, Switzerland, deleted the mandatory
international requirement for proficiency in Morse for access to the
HF bands below 30 MHz.
Thanks, I will try and let you know my result !!!

Jean-Francois,
You certainly could do that - it should not alter any other
function that I
am aware of. The current display can be trimmed by changing

Folks,
After thinking about this voltmeter 'adjustment' a bit more, I
discovered I
had erred. The value of R10 should be INCREASED to make the
reading higher.
Sorry - I guess I had a 'senior moment' and got my head turned
around wrong.

I use good quality probe wires like one used by Fluke. The cable
stay flexible even under cold weather during winter expedition. The
cable is, I think, around 20 gauge.
And I found red and black ;-)

Hi,
For people not really decided between wich knob to use, the original
or the FT-100, I received mine today... two FT-100 knobs and rings...
Why two ?? Because I'm ready for my second K2 this autumn !!! ;-) It
took only 9 days to receive it...
Take a look at it :
Hi,
I used my KX1 this afternoon and I got a strange problem I put
the power out to zero (0) to practice CW a few moment. And when I
was sqeezing both side of my paddle, the KX1 was shutting down like
power off and immediatly on, like a reset
I tried with the Elecraft KX1 mini
