This weekend, I participated in NAQP RTTY. I noticed when I went to a new
bandthat the RTTY power (100 watts) was at 50 watts on the watt meter...but
after two or three times of calling cq...the power would be back to 100 watts.
The band did not matter, it did this consistently on all

Ran RU this weekend and was experimenting with Dual PB. I found that the
sensitivity of the receiver would be much less that using the standard 500 Hz
Filter with the bandwidth set at 350. What causes that or is something wrong?

could degauss the ion slip stream, ratchet up the electronobulator, and then
put in some plasticized radionic grease on the shafts …Elecraft could increase
Sunspot button or a poor/medium/super Propagation Button for all bands all
modes.

I have SN 443 - an early model of the K3. It has been back to Aptos for
updates. Now then, I just got at P3 and included in that is a kit that that
changes a resistor on the K3 to give 10 db more to the P3. It is SMT, but they
also include a small resistor if you don't want to use the SMT

load...and 48 volts under full power.

Ladies and Gentlemen
I just got my K3 back from Aptos. I had some issues
We do live in amazing times. I sent my K3 off to have it repaired and
modified. The work done was excellent by Dale Farmer and the K3 came out of
Aptos with the old serial number but a new radio. The trouble was an encoder
had quit working and that cause half the buttons to quit too.
This is way cool. I would not get one oneread cheap here. But, I just
love cottage industries. Filling a need or a desire. I think the Finger
Dimple Guy is great too.Way cool. Cottage Industries are way cool.
