If you don't run them prior to the Exchange setup, they do run automatically in the background. That's probably why your Exchange install took such a long time. In larger forests where you have multiple domains/trees, it is a better idea to run forestprep and wait a while until schema changes

The exact same error was what I had. I removed the E2K installation. Removed any ADC connector, and recreated it and allowed it to synch. Then re-installed E2K with the account which had the right to install E2K and aslo gave that account the service admin rights at all levels in 5.5. -

Slow opening unread messages

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has seen this before and can lead me towards the right direction. Outlook XP (SP1) is slow to open unread message. After it's marked as read, the speed appears to be fine. The symptom persists when you toggle between read/unread. This only happens with one
