The LM7.2 installation software fails to access the floppy when making
the bootfloppy. Also it fails to install Lilo/Grub due to some "Hash"
error. Have any of you the solution to these problems?

7.2, and when I run kdgb I only get a "segmentation fault". Could this be
due to the fact that it has a dependency of qt1? I installed qt1 also but
maybe it doesn't know where to look?

I'm about to install Windows 2000 on my computer, I know that linux could
read Windows NT NTFS partitions just fine, but can it read Windows 2000 NTFS?

With grub you just edit the list. With lilo you run lilo after you
make the lilo.conf changes. As
Unless you told it to uninstall lilo why wouldn't it be installed? Linux
is usually better about actually waiting for you to tell it what you want
before it does it. Also a lot of times programs leave modified config
files when uninstalled so if you need them later you have them. I still
run LILO

Mandrake on Celeron processor machine with Western Digital hard
drives. It's a hardware issue. You may want to look at the drives, or the
chipsets on the mobo's themselves. Celerons and mandrake aren't known to
get along
have you tried specifying the amount of RAM in the lilo.conf file, or
passing the correct amount to the kernel via command line at the LILO
prompt. There is a way to do that if you're using grub too, but I don't
know what that is since I don't use grub. sounds too much like a worm.

I think its a problem with some of the linux usb drivers. I
have the same kind of a problem with my hp deskjet printer.
Works great on a parallel port (or usb in win98) but with
the usb port in linux, I get a lot of artifacts printed.
With graphics printing the frequency of disturbance in the
