Hi, Tracy,
Zeplin, the cat in question, was turned in to the SPCA in
Harrisonburg, VA. Their policy does not allow adopting him out
directly, but they could transfer him to a rescue organization.
Currently he has a URI (typical for many cats in shelter situations),
but he seems healthy ot
Hi I just got more bad news. This time it is from my sister.
A stray cat adopted her and finally decided to trust her. He is now her cat.
She told me today that he was acting lethargic and had been so for the past
couple of day. I told her she needed to get him to the vet. She had never
had him in
How is his health overall? Is he healthy or already declining due to FeLV+? Has he been vetted otherwise (neutered, shots, etc)?
Where are you?

Hi, everyone,
I'm a volunteer with Siamese Rescue, and I am trying to help a
completely charming adult seal point snowshoe male that just tested

Sally,
You're so very much in my thoughts at this heartbreaking time. I'm in
complete agreement with you. Junior deserved the chance that you gave
him, and he had a year and a half of quality time. Mine had about the
same amount of time. Before they became symptomatic, they enjoyed life

Thanks, I know I did the right thing. First by treating him and last knowing
when it was time to go. We think we are prepared for this but we never are
really ready. This was the time for letting go. He finally is outside again.

Ah Sally I am so sorry you lost Junior. You knew it was his time and did the
bravest thing anyone can do, let go. I commend you for being able to give him
2 years. What I wouldn't have given for just 2 months.

Caroline,
I am Junior is happy to have such and honourable escort in Brumley. Junior
has had some journey. I will be lost without him. He asked for nothing from
me and gave so much. Every day when I got home from work he would come out

Sally I am so very sorry.
I know how special Junior was to you, and how hard you fought to
keep him well. This disease is insidious. I grieve with you for Junior

HI Kerry
Thanks you for the hugs. My head knows Junior is happy and whole. My heart
is broken. His roomate spike just jumped up on my lap to let me know she is
a love kitty.
When I first joined this group I almost had to leave it seemed like someone

I'm saddened by this news. Sally, you did all that you could, and
helping Junior

Hi Lance and all you great parents,
Junior took his last breath at the vet's today with assistance. I would like
to say it went well, but his body was shutting down. The sedative did not
calm him. I called the vet back into the room to go ahead and stop his
misery. His veins were not cooperating.
Oh no Sally, I will be thinking of you and Junior.
