I've been told that you cannot share things like this with your pets.
I don't know if I believe it. There have been times when one of my cats
became sick not long after me. The vet swears that you cannot share
between other species (cat to human, cat to dog, etc).

Somewhere
in the back of my mind, I remember a site where one can apply for assistance
with vet bills Have someone who has been feeding a group of Katrina
strays in MS and has one who turns out to be diabetic and needed emergency
care. Does anyone remember the site Im referring to???
that on their own so any possible help
is always helpful
As for the cat in questionwell,
poor Rusty was not doing well late last night. He wasnt eating and though he seemed fairly
comfortable and purring away, we know that for a diabetic cat, not eating is
not good

SO,dont panic more folks
will give you a whole more details weve all been in your
situation and it will work out. Just maybe, start calling other vets to see
who in your area is more familiar with FELV

I give mine Wellness and a bit of IAMS
dry. Basically, I tried to find food that did not have a whole lot of grain
fillers as theyre all sort of lazy indoor cats and they were just
getting really heavy!

Nina couldn't have said it any better. You didn't kill Grayson. You were
helping him and loving him. Don't blame yourself, he passed in the best way
possible- being held and loved!

Thanks
in the Gulf Coast and fosters/rescue
groups are simply running out of room for the postKatrina newborns, for the
owner turn ins, and for the strays still out on the streets (many of whom were
previously owned pets who were lost).

Thanks,
Tonya, this is very good to know
them, moving them around when she felt like moving, feeding
on demand and using her body to keep them warm. They stay close to mom to
hear that heartbeat and get the comfort. So, making a pouch and holding
next to you cant possibly hurt, it seems to me.

and calm and between him and all the
reading I did, I sort of figured out that the best thing I could do is not
worry and give my little guys the best life I could and as you said so well just
take it day by day. Im less stressed and that makes them less
stressed!
