hi Michelle, I am sorry to hear Lucy isn't doing so well right now..Inky has had some really bad bouts lately, too..I would, like Nina, suggested stay with the raw diet or mush..Inky is still on 10mg of pred now as his vet said to keep him there if it is working..So maybe you just need to

Hi Sally, I saw that you wrote that Junior runs a temp...Bandy had an on going fever for over 14 months..I treated him at home with 1/2 of a .75mg dexamethasone. The temp would be around 105 and within 3 hrs it was back to normal 101 or so..I had an ear thermometer which was much easier for

Hi Michelle, I am sorry I couldn't respond to this sooner. If you remember, Bandy had recurring fevers for well over a year...often as high as 106+.. After awhile of taking him to the vet, I had a prescription of .75mg dex for use at home...I would give him 1/2 pill at times and the temp

Michelle, I am sorry to hear Lucy isn't doing so well yet..I don't know why they won't give you some dex or give her a dex injection..I know it works the fastest to reduce the temp..It is almost standard procedure from any vet I have used for dogs or cats here..It also hits any inflammation
