I can't get this to work. Is this a Windows version only feature? The
2nd time I double click, the only thing happens is the positioner (the
triangles frame) disappears, which seems shouldn't happen. Another bug? Hm.

In my guess, what this is telling you is Finale is calling PCI424 driver
then receives something Finale doesn't understand and crashes.
You should also try assign Built-in under AMS to see if Finale still crashes.

Since my main work is digital audio, I never let any of my machines
sleep, including MBP2.4. I even don't let HD spin down. I only turn
the monitor screen off.
If you can reproduce the problem without any peripheral attached, you
have a different case.

I just checked, and it still works with FinMac2k8:
File > Scanning >Import and Existing TIFF File...
Note that Finale can't read compressed TIFF file. I also don't know why
FinMac doesn't recognize my HP scanner's kernel extension.

nd. In Mac GUI, Opt will modify menu item by its Guideline.
Shift key has no function for that.
I often question why Finale has to change key command on every upgrade
path. This one is especially illogical to me.
