4 GB of RAM may be of no use to
FrameMaker if it's the only application open, but if you have
other applications open and you only have 4 GB, wouldn't those
other application be competing for the same 4 GB? In which case,
if you have 8 GB you are better off.
I don't think you're missing anything Greg, but the lesson learned, if
anything, is that you need to look at your corrections.
I'm going to assume this guy was learning the ropes... until it happens
again. ;- )

FrameMaker 10, Unstructured. A co-worker has a 3 volume set of manuals and
needs to create links between various files within the manual sets. I can make
the links work using a cross-reference easily but it creates an absolute link
path. These links will obviously not work when
Bookmarks, links, and TOC settings are in FrameMaker, an Acrobat expert
would likely know nothing about them.
