Well, in all fairness, it is *a* solution, although probably not *the*

Hi,
I often get a frame crash when scrolling a page horizontally.
Error message: Crash in HScrollTrack: 2044
This happens when I’m working with a remote screen (or beamer, while giving
training…) or even on my laptop screen. I’m using Windows7 Ultimate running in

believe I've raised this with Adobe, but I would be grateful if

Especially when a book is open (or a ditamap) and some pods/panels, the

Makes me wonder if it is a buffer or video driver issue.

OK, this really isn't a slam -- honest.

I think that the difference here is that this probably *only* happens
with FM. If it was all (or at least other) apps, then it would likely be
an OS or VM issue, but if it's just FM, then there's probably something
slightly incompatible being done in FM that Adobe should be aware of.
Granted,

I'm sure this is true, Art, but I'm also fairly sure that it's an operating

Hello All,
running into a weird problem. Never happened to me. I open Frame (7.1, on XP)
and when I press Ctrl+Alt+l (to make something lower case) or even when no
document is open, Frame crashes with the usual error screen. Now when I do
Ctrl+Alt+shift+l it goes fine.
Does anyone know what

Hi Kevin,
Books can get corrupted, so I would try the following two things.
1) Save the book as a MIF file. Reopen the MIF file and save it back to a
.book file and then try making the PDF.
2) If that doesn't work, create a brand new .book file and add the
components to it.

Hi Jakob,
This is a known bug with Frame 5.5.6 and 6 with Windows XP. There is a patch
for 6 but I don't think there is one for 5.5.6.
