I run a headless server and I've become fond of using the screen
utility with SSH to allow me to launch a text-based application, detach
from it, and then reattach to it later to see how it's going.
I'm wondering if there's a tool I can use that would allow me to do that
with GUI
Looks like the preferred approach many folks re the above problem is
fuzzyocr? Since there isn't a port for that, is there another FreeBSD
solution worth mentioning here?

I can't remember if there is a port or not, but I remember it was very
easy to install: if fuzzyocr itself is not a port, every tools it is
based upon are ports.

It's a driver bug, the sr driver needs a rethink of it's buffer
structures.
