In MacWindows, Adobe Director is a good multimedia IDE.
In FreeBSD, which ports are similar?
I only know graphics/processing, but it's too old and need JDK.

I'm looking for suggestions for full-screen playback multimedia jukebox
software. It should maintain a full-screen display while playing,
showing the video when video is played and some kind of visualization
when audio is played, without showing the software controls on the

the patch fails to apply.
Mplayer port cannot be upgraded too for the same reason.

you're using pkg_delete here. i do not believe that it accepts shell
globs (like
/usr/ports.

also, it's not 'pkg_delete multimedia/mplayer*'
it would be 'pkg_delete mplayer-gtk-0.92.1_1' (substituted by whatever
'pkg_info | grep -i mplay' returns as the mplayer version installed)
you might want to consider rereading the handbook

If you want to force deletion of the package use the command
