Maybe I could help you as I installed it on Solaris 8 recently
without problems, but your attachment is not readable in the
users digest.

It seems that the NMC send a code 12d packet (Status-Server request) as=
seen in the RFC, but the FreeRadius is not replying to this packet.
It doesn't have to reply. That packet is

Plain configure stops while configuring libltdl:

I'd like to know if someone has any real numbers of what capacity
freeradius can handle. For example how many user, number of requests per

To be honest I did not expect that kind of answer :-)
I'm using the native compiler for nearly all GNU/free software for
many reasons (e.g. performance, OS compatibility). I don't like installing
GCC for ONLY that purpose.

Ah! Something that I forgot
I am using freeradius as a proxy server. Right now each of my boxes (2Gx2cpu
VA-Linux) can answer 30 auth requests per second and 60 acct requests per
second. CPU useage is still 80% idle. Memory leak is my problem. Again,
that's only for proxy. The performance is affected by end Radius servers

Hi Mike,
No, the problem is that the Radius Server (Freeradius) does not support
code 12d Requests.
I know. So I made the remark that adding support for it is easy,
and I demonstrated that Cistron Radius already has the code

I turned on debugging in checkrad but it doesn't look like it's
