The only difference among 10.5.8 versions are most likely due to the
differences in the hardware it's loaded on.
It is running well on my G5 PowerMac tower. Until you are happy with

10.5 is Universal, meaning it runs on any Mac that 10.5 supports, Intel or PPC.

the grey Tiger Install DIsk which includes my AHT 2.5.2.
I'm going to look at the Black Retail OS X 10.5 DVD that I purchased
a number of years ago, by Restart-ing holding down opt ... if it is
on there, it should appear
My Quad has a bit of a problem, to be resolved at the Mac Doctor ...
I believe that is why my installed G4 HD did not appear to work in my
G5. It did show up on the Desktop, but having Startup issues caused it
to not mount later.
Time will tell ... once the G5 is up and running, all should
