hmmm. well you may have issues with soundmax they only released drivers for oem use at least I have never needed to upgrade soundmax boards and assume that since all the newer units don't use them any longer that they don't exist. but look anyway. Realtech does have a driver but its really old

well tom it probably doesn't help that ms have their own sound driver. That does work but you really need to know your manufacturer to get the driver for that card as its generic, then again I have never needed to record on a 7 unit. And probably never will as I have a couple old units lined up

Depends on what you want to do. If you want to record both a microphone and game data at the same time, you'll want a program like sound tap (www.nchsoftware.com). If you just want to get game sounds do the following: Go to your system tray list, choose speakers (or whatever volume is) go to r
