well you may have issues with soundmax they only released drivers for
oem use at least I have never needed to upgrade soundmax boards and
assume that since all the newer units don't use them any longer that
they don't exist.
but look anyway.
Realtech does have a driver but its really old
I believe both of mine are realtech, but I'm not absolutely

That does work but you really need to know your manufacturer to get
the driver for that card as its generic, then again I have never
needed to record on a 7 unit.

Just a note, I've found that the volume on the stereo mix (with
microphone boost at max) still tends to be a few db low; a 6 db
boost or so should fix it.
