I don't honestly agree with a different ending for a different difficulty
level. I do, however, agree with the concept of different endings based on
happenings in the game. That can actually make the endings harder to reach,

actually in my opinion, the frames kind of compartmentalize things which
makes it easier. If everything was in one window with no frames you'd have
to arrow down quite a ways just to get to the action part of the screen.

that is what I thought, but didnt exactly want to quote somebody, and have

first portion of the game programming class that I took was taught in C++,
but the second portion which deals with graphics and sound stuff is
