Maybe if a few developers worked together, it might be possible.

Hey all!!! Just wondering, I think I missed something and I don't want to
waste space with repeat posts, but could someone write me off list with the
quidditch game? Like who it's by how to get it, what platform it's on etc.?
Thanks a ton! Have a great day!
Chris
Hey Allison, as far as I know there is not a Quiddage game for the blind. I
wish there was too, and am wondering how hard it would be to code? Hmmm
have to ponder this.

Hi.
No. None that I know of. I imagine it wouldn't be so hard to code, but
would be hard to play. Especially, since it would have to be fully 3D
you would have up, down, left, right, front, and back to look for the balls.

Yeah, it might be. I guess it all depends on what position you take up
on the team. If you are a chaser you are going to concern yourself with
getting the snitch.
If you are a defensive roll you are going to be looking to beat the
bludgers away.
It would almost have to be multiplayer to be any
Actually, I've considered this many times, and would love to do
it. But I have no desire to become entangled in tricky copyright
conundrums. However, it could be done, and I've got a fairly clear
and clean cut design plan that would make it possible, fun, and extremely cool.

The Chaser is concerned
Hi, Liam.
In short that is the problem. Any time us small time devs want to
license anything from Hary Potter, Star Wars, Star Trek, you name it the
parent companies that hold those copyrights ask , where is the money?
From my own research those companies are expecting to make millions off
Ah, yes. Forgot about that Charles my man. I'm not a huge Hary Potter
fan myself, and have only read the books once, but I do remember the
different player positions now that you have mentioned them.

Tom,
Yeah, exactly. It's very sad, 'cause it is a sort of discrimination
in a way. Granting rights to develop these games for the blind would
not hurt them in any way, would indeed be excellent publicity, but
since it won't substantially fatten their wallets...
Oh well. My imagination is
It would be a huge risk.

Ah, yes
The brooms and balls all had sound effects, lifted right from the
film if memory serves. You could play for any number of various
countries in the Quidditch finals in order to work your way to the
championship. Most of the audio was commentated by Ludo Bagman, as
in the books. Everyone
ha ha, I had to say that was pretty funny. LOL, so Charles aren't you
actually 6 feet tall if you are 4 foot 24 inches? I may be asking a dumb
question, but I thought 12 inches was a foot. You can definitely tell math
isn't my best subject.
BEAN
Lol! I've never thought of 6 foot tall that way before, but that is a
new way of looking at it.
Since you are bigger than I am you must be a bigger Potter fan than me
to. Grin.

well since height counts, then so must weight, and I am not exactly HUGE,
but not small either, so I must be broader Harry Potter fan. Ha Ha, yall
can take ya'll's hight and do something heighty with it, lol. Thanks ya'll
