Correct, Tom. Street Fighter IV is indeed for the pc... so if anyone wants
to try it who has no console it's possible. However Super Street Fighter IV,
which is the version currently out on the market... basically the expansion
that adds more characters and whatnot, hasn't been released for pc y

As for Laser Bot, there's a bit of a trick to it. You can't run and duck at
the same time, so immediately after you hear him shoot at you you have to
get up and run towards him, firing as you do. If you can get fairly close to
him before he shoots at you the first time you can actually nail him
The thing about laserbot is he yells each time he shoots. peg it after him
blasting away, and when you here him say "take that" hit down arrow (but
keep shooting), then get up and start running as soon as you've heard the
shot sound.
Using this technique I can usually flaw him in seconds,

Hi Phil,
Wow! This Kinect technology sounds awesome. I'd never expect Microsoft

Hi,
That's my thought exactly. the Kinect technology does sound better
than the Wii. However, I am concerned about accessibility as it might
be more difficult to access menus and things through gestures

You know, I've heard a lot of fighting game players talk about that. The
truth is, playing a game like that via exclusive motion isn't precise enough
as button presses. With frame data, and the rest of it, your timing needs to
be pretty spot on. Capcom realized this... and in Tatsunoko vs. capco
I don't know about more accessible. A visual game is still a visual game.

the time... you still have to jump at the right places, climb at the right
places. So more interactive, defnitely. More acessible? This is just m
Hi Clement,
Yeah, I've heard that too. You got a point. I know just with the
experience I have had with the Wii-Motes it is darn hard to do
anything precise because the motion sensor in the Wii-Mote usually
gives you too much motion or too little motion. While a cool idea in
concept it fails to giv
Well. Kinect will only work on titles that support it. Current games will
not support it, and it doesn't seem likely support will be patched in.
But hopefully it will do some very cool things. I'm hoping to do a live
audio stream when I get the device and my cousin comes over to help me set
it up.
My point exactly. It's not that I don't approve of the technology, some
games would be downright fn to play. But games like competetive fighting
games that are so heavily basd on timing couldn't bedone wel. At least not
atthis time. That, and for some reason, fighting games just feel so much
