I would recommend running RECYCLE specifying the VOLSER of each of the
unwanted tapes. This updates all CDS entries to point to the new tape volume
and returns them to scratch status. At that point in time the user can
delete those tapes from HSM.

backup and migration tapes to hsm and lets hsm decide which tape to
mount volspecific, so far so good. For some time they have defined 2
