Phil your comment certainly is supported by log files and undeliverables returned to postmaster account. Once an email + recipient is processed shouldn't it be removed from the "list" for that smtp process? Any work arounds? How about a program that will validate users and/or hosts

Chris, Yes. But it might be better to have an MX record (mail servers look for that first) that points to the same name and have the A record, too. You will also want to have a PTR record or some servers will not accept your email. Daniel Donnelly
