Listened this morning between 13:55 and now (15:04). Conditions are
gradually falling off, but with still quite a bit of activity. A little
bit of everything noted today, including DU activity and a single LW
Russian. Conditions to the NW were not as good as yesterday. SAQ 529 was
strong on
Yep, very mediocre at my QTH as well at 13:55 UTC. The only Russian heard
was 279, and only at fair level. Otherwise 3 or 4 of the more powerful
usual stations as above, and not much else. Seems like Colin always picks
the mornings that are real duds to DX ;-)Walt.

Sure agree with Richard and Gary. Although, a modest presence from 972 and
774 at least. Hints of audio from 1116. A bummer for sure! 73, Walt

The were no TP DX treats here this morning, only
The four of us are sitting around the table listening to AIR 1071 at
armchair level! Presumed Iran is weakly co-channel. Man this is amazing.
Thanks to Bruce Conti for erecting his 1200' Beverage (elongated 400' this
morning). Nice ID at 19:00 UTC. How's that for fun. By the way, Brent

Nick, that's a very useful map! Thanks. I've often wondered from where
all those TWEB's came from, and yes, Level Island is pretty level! 73,

Good luck Jim and Capp attendees. We've had a great evening DXing tonight!

Another stinker this morning, although 1116 is yielding weak English from
Australia, so not a total loss. Heard at 14:49 UTC. KTKN 930 is only
weakly heard cochannel, from Ketchikan. Oh well, there's always tomorrow!

Weird morning in that a single frequency was well heard here:
1566 HLAZ Korea at very good level just after the TOH at 15:00, briefly
before fading and a slight recovery, then slid into oblivion. Heard on my
North corner fed loop. Strange that nothing else was audible.
73, Walt Salmaniw,
Haven't seen or heard a word from the current Newfoundland DXpediton. I
guess they have no internet access? Has anyone heard a word from them? I
suppose that's what I really liked about the just completed Murray Harbour
North, PEI dxpedition. On-line with very quick loggings posted for
Thanks for the update, Chuck. Total opposite to our week in PEI! 73, Walt
