Yeah, those pointing devices are in different spots, but I'd never heard of one up by the grav key. In general, you can disable the mouse by going into System, control tab to the hardware tab, Device manager, mice and other devices, highlight the scroll wheel or whatever your computer calls

The bridge that I spoke of is a separate hardware device that I attached an internal drive from another system after removing it of course from said computer. That was so the drive showed up on my laptop as an external hard drive just like any such device that you would go to a store and

Using a Sony Vaio laptop with one of those darned mousepads, I'v been through the device manager mouse settings, but I don't seek disable anywhere. The thing drives me crazy. It moves the cursor even if I just pass over the area. I've run into this problem with other brands of computer also.
