This is interesting and have
window but doesn't work when trying to
drag something from one window to another window.
Of course it may be just me but hopefully some one else has
a better experience.

Peter,
Over the years, the consensus of this list has been to
simply use cut & paste, a lot simpler and consistent in
results.

Tom,
One additional note on tablets. You may find many still
coming with windows 8.1 but all can be upgraded to Windows
10 for free. I am not upgrading my Dell venue pro simply
because I only use it a couple of times a year for
traveling. This little I do with it is very doable in 8.1

One way, and possibly not the quickest, is to run the start up wizard once
again from the help menu in Jaws

Kimsan,
Regarding recent changes, you can do a jaws key and the
number 6 on top row and go to bottom of tree to see last 25
changes you made with jaws.

Jason,
It seems a year or two ago this topic came up on the list.
If I remember, it could be done but required a certain type
headset or device which I believe was quite costly. Try
searching the archives if no one gets back to you

Although in the past this feature was very useful, helpful,
with its recent unreliability (no fault of FS) I have just
gotten used to using the search feature on the full site.

First time using Gold wave with Windows 10. I had to update
to latest version for it to work properly. I need to put the
scripts in again. I looked at the script page on JAWS
download. Only question I have is do I copy the ini file
that is there along with the others to the my scripts

Could you clarify on Jaws version. You mention 17 twice so

Hello,
I know this topic has been discussed but don't remember the
work around if any. I'm using the latest version of the PDF
software referenced in my subject line. Works great
opening attachments I receive via email, PDF's on my PC,
etc. However, some web based PDF documents, an example
just fine.
Hope this helps.

Does DC have the option to uncheck 'open in browser'? Check
under the preferences and see if this helps.

Jim,
A top troubleshooter at FS called me about this issue prior to going on
vacation. They are aware of the issue and know it is somehow related to JAWS.
The trick is trying to figure out why so many folks are having issues, but not
everyone. Again, they want folks to report the issue so they
Fred,
Why not just hit the windows key which opens the search menu, then type in and
internet explorer pops up and hit enter on it. This is what I do

I experience this occasionally with Outlook in Office 2010.
Usually shift tabbing back to the folder list and then going
into another folder and then back corrects the situation.

Microsoft support often uses Hitman Pro, which I have
purchased and works pretty good with Jaws. Just a FYI for
