Richard the highest waves I could ever produce was just past 90 degrees after that the mechanism jammed .the only other possible way I think would be is to have the piston arm as a rack running on the .25 index gear but you would have to find a way of keeping it meshed possibly a spring.

I’m fairly sure these are all manual mills the only motors I see on them are manual drive motors and the controllers that come with them. One controller I have not seen might be one of the real early cnc upgrades, they used the original drive motors and the leadscrews . but the other 2 are
