Hello Every one, am using PFSense on Free BSD and i have tried to install
all necessary packages but it seems it cannot block specific sites like
facebook at a specific times..I want to be able to block some sites during
work hours and put them open after work.
Thank You.
Yes Faisal,
Which Version of pfsense are you using, and which applications have you
installed?
Try to see that you are running the most current version of pfsense, it
has more features. I am using 2.1-RELEASE (i386) and I think I can be of
help!

system in pfSense:
You could enable and configure the DNS Forwarding system to redirect all
Facebook.com DNS requests to a bad IP (or your Intranet IP). Then, create a
LAN rule (on a schedule) that redirects all
Thank Kyle,
I use the same method of DNS Forwarding you are talking about, But when am
creating a Firewall rule on to it, and i set my schedule, then it does not
respond to schedule set, Instead it just blocks the address specified.

I read the whole table perhaps I just don't understand what the benefit of

Is this accreditation by the in-crowd? Is an ICTAU accreditation a

I agree with Simon. After almost 7 years of trying to block websites I gave

Ok, so if I paid an annual fee right now, I could spend the next 12 months
and not have any recognizable accreditation since the association is still
